Peace On Earth

I have card another using the Flora & Fauna Winter Woodland set today.

I card the card front using a stitched die and a window using the My Favorite Things Peek-a-Boo die, then stamped the sentiment using pure poppy ink. For the window insert I stamped the trees and garland plus the bird separately. I colored with copic markers and then fussy cut out the tiny bird, attaching with a pop dot. The whole piece was layered onto a patterned paper mat.

Winter Woodland

Today's card is another one using the Flora & Fauna Winter Woodland set.

I first stamped the tree from the set six times using aqua mist, green parakeet and hawaiian shores ink. I then stamped the sentiment and the deer using london fog ink and the footprints in soft stone. After coloring the deer with Copic markers, I cut out the image piece with a stiched die and attached to a berrylicous card base. Twine wrapped around the card ending in a bow finished up a clean and simple card.

A Magical Holiday Season

Here it is December 1 and I am unprepared for it. I have done a bit of shopping but not nearly enough. I have my Christmas tree up but not much more decorating in the house. We haven't even started on the outside decorations. And of course I am here still churning out Christmas cards that I had hoped to get mailed out the first week of December (not going to happen).

Today's cards feature a stamp set I have had a few weeks but not used yet. I remedied this yesterday by making three cards. I will share the other two at a later date. After stamping the tree from the Flora & Fauna Winter Woodland set eight time across a smoke cardstock piece using Versamark ink, I white heat embossed. I cut the stamped piece with a stitched die, stamped the sentiment using black ink and then wrapped gold thread around it several times ending in a bow. A few silver glitter enamel dot finished it up.
