Good morning all. It's the 14th of the month and that means it is time for another Picket Fence Studios release. I am sharing two of the seven projects I created for this release today.
After stamping the image from the new Done Adulting for the Day I cut out with the matching die and colored with Copic markers. To prepare the background panel, I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes to blend antique linen (sand), salvaged patina (sea) and tumbled glass (sky) distress inks. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the background and I attached the image using a layer of craft foam. A trio of sequins for the Sandy Toes Sequin Mix finished it up.
There are premade wine tags available and even some dies, but since they are so easy to make I usually just cut my own. I cut out a rectangle piece from limeade cardstock, used my bone folder to make a crease, then used an inside/out circle to cut an opening. I then used another inside/out die to cut from white cardstock to create a smaller opening. That isn't really necessary but I wanted to add a bit more interest. I used post-it tape to create lines on a piece of white cardstock and then used an old credit card to apply the new Hibiscus Pink Paper Glaze to make shiny stripes. After the panel dried, I used a pierced rectangle die to cut out a mat for my wine tag. For the main image, I stamped one of the sentiments from the new Just Wanna Have Wine set using cranberry ink, then cut out with stitched rectangle die.
After slipping the tag onto the bottle of wine, I added a bow using ribbon and twine.
