{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Winter Style

It's day three of The Cat's Pajamas sneak peeks. Today we are featuring the new Winter Style set. This set is gorgeous and I am showcasing it in two different styles.

For my first card, the leafy flourish image was stamped onto watercolor cardstock using Versamark ink and then citron heat embossed. I then stamped the various snowflakes from the same set randomly also using Versamark ink and then white heat embossed. I watercolored the background using Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Citron Ranger Distress inks and then cut out the whole piece with a stitched die. The big snowflake cut with the Snowflake CutUps was attached with a mini brad. The sentiment was stamped onto a small cardstock piece using aquamarine ink and then secured with foam tape.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, Strathmore watercolor cs, Sakura Gelly Roll pen, Recollections embossing powder, Versamark ink, Ranger Archival and Distress inks

The versatility of this set means you can also be clean and simple. I started out by stamping the leafy image onto white linen cardstock using Versamark ink and then glacier heat embossed it. The sentiment was stamped diectly onto the background using vermillion ink. A trio of sequins added a bit more interest to a CAS designed card. I hope you like this set as much as I do. You will definitely be seeing it again this week.

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Santa is Coming

Welcome back to the second day of The Cat's Pajamas sneak peeks. We are reversing gears a bit today by featuring a holiday set, the new Santa is Coming.

I used the new Scalloped Duo die to cut from a stitched white linen cardstock rectangle and then again from solid  green patterned paper. I backed the opening with more patterned paper. This is a versatile little die than can give you several different looks as you will see throughout the week. I stamped the sentiment from the Santa is Coming set directly onto the card front. After coloring up the image from the same set I fussy cut out and then secured it to the panel with foam tape. A few enamel dots finished it up.

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek and TCP Tuesday Challenge #326} Big Cups

Welcome to the first day of The Cat's Pajamas sneak peeks! Over the next seven days The Cat Pack along with some very special guest designers will be showcasing seven new stamp sets and seven new CutUps. It's going to be a full week so let's get it started with the new Big Cups set.

Today is also the first day of the TCP Tuesday challenge to include a beverage on your project. See the full details on The Cat's Pajamas blog, The challenge runs for two weeks and The Cat’s Pajamas products are not required although we do love it when you use our stamps and dies.

I first cut the cup base twice from white and yellow cardstock using the Cups CutUps and then cut the decorative portion from the yellow top layer. I glued the two layers together and set aside. Using the Misti to assist, I stamped the image and sentiment from the new Big Cups set stamped onto a plain white cardstock rectangle. I then carefully placed the cup piece underneath the dog and and stamped again so the ear portion would appear to flop over the cup rim. I colored up the few places needed with Copic markers and then glued the die cut cup underneath Poochie. I attached the image piece to the prepared card front. and added a scattering of black and yellow enamel dots for a clean and simple card.

Wishing You the Happiest Season

I knew when I bought the Papertrey Ink Stylized Autumn set that I would be using it for Christmas cards rather than fall.

I stamped the leaf flourish and flower center using Green Parakeet, the flower in Pure Poppy and fox in London Fog ink and cut them out with the matching dies. I also stamped an image from the Spruce & Sprigs set using Pure Poppy ink and cut out with the matching die. I watercolored a piece of watercolor cardstock using Tumbled Glass distress ink and then clustered the images using foam tape. After adding a trio of silver snowflakes cut with a die from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflakes die set, I added a few white opal liquid pearls. The sentiment was stamped onto a white cardstock stitched rectangle using Pure Poppy ink and attached with foam tape. This is Christmas card #14.

Products: Papertrey Ink stamps, dies and cs, Ranger Watercolor cs, Stampin' Up cs, Michael's metallic cs, Ranger Liquid Pearls, Lawn Fawn and MFT dies, Memento and PTI ink

I hope you are having a great week.

Happy Thoughts of You {Purple Onion Designs}

I am squeezing in one more card using Purple Onion Designs stamps this month.

I used the Birch Tree Background to stamp the trees onto a Neenah cardstock piece and then colored with Copic Markers. I performed a bit of masking to stamp Timber (beaver) sitting atop a Log onto Copics X-press It cardstock, colored with Copics and fussy cut out. I used a combo of the Pretty Pink Posh Storybook 2 die and a stitched rectangle die to cut a background piece from Blueberry Sky cardstock and then layered it atop the background using foam tape. The sentiment from the Sweet Summer Sentiment set was stamped onto kraft cardstock and cut out with a double fishtail banner die. The grass was cut from New Leaf cardstock using Grass Border CutUps and the cloud from white textured cardstock using the Stitched Clouds CutUps, both dies by The Cat's Pajamas.

Happy Meow-lloween 2

We are actually feeling a bit of fall in the air. Normally here in Alabama it is usually late October before the temperatures drop. It's a pleasant respite from the unrelenting heat we have been experiencing although I wish some rain would come along with it.

I stamped the cute Franken-kitty and Vampire kitty along with the fence image (x2) from the C.C. Designs Happy Meow-lloween set and cut out with the matching Meow-lloween Kitties die. After coloring all the images with Copic Markers, I stamped the sentiment onto a white cardstock strip. I used a combo of the Pretty Pink Posh Storybook 2 die and a stitched rectangle die to cut a background piece from black cardstock. I filled the frames of the storybook with a variety of patterned papers and then added the images and sentiment using foam tape for dimension.

Products: C.C. Designs stamps and dies, Doodlebug dp, PTI cs, Pretty Pink Posh and MFT dies, MFT ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Franken-kitty-YG0000, YG01, YG23, R20, C00, C1, C3, C5; Vampire Kitty-YR30, YR31,YR23, YR24, R20, C00, C1, C3, C5; Fence-W1, W2, W5

Thank you so much for stopping by. I know there are a lot of blogs out there and I am grateful that you spend time with me.
