An Apple Harvest

Dear Summer,

I am so over you.

Normally I would rather be hot than cold any day of the week. But this summer has been a hard one.  Hot, hot and hotter. And the beaches we normally enjoy were a bit oily thanks to a certain oil company. So it just has not been the greatest of summers.  I'm ready for fall.  I will have to just pretend I don't know that winter soon follows it!

Today's fall themed card fits this week's All That Scraps Wednesdays Challenge to include fruit.  I printed the digital image (C.C. Designs Sugarplums Apple Emma) onto
Papertrey Ink cardstock and then colored with Copic Markers.

Products: C.C. Designs digital stamp, Imaginisce and Jillibean Soup pp, PTI cs, buttons and Woodgrain Impression plate, Maya Road ribbon, Copic Markers

Copics: Skin-E0000, E00, E02, R01; Hair-E31, E33, E35, E37; Apples-E07, E08, E09; Leaves and Stems- YG93, YG95; E29; Basket-E55, E57; Dress/Shoes-Y21, Y23, Y26; Pinnafore-E50, E51

I hope your week has started off great.  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. What a cute little apple picking girl! Boo on the oily beaches! I know what you mean. When I lived briefly in Louisiana, I would vacation at Gulf Shores. Hope the oil clears soon and not to much damage was done. It just broke my heart seeing it all on the news.

  2. So cute! (But I'm still not ready for fall, because I know what comes right behind it...brrr!)

  3. Cute, cute card and once again you've used the perfect papers! That's the nice thing about being a scrapbooker too, we usually always have the perfect papers! ;)
You're so creative and talented Nancy, the card is perfect!
