Joy (TCP Tuesday 225)

Today's TCP Tuesday challenge card  is a sketch by our hostess Amy (TCPTUES225). The You Suit Me was not specifically created for Christmas but I thought I could make it work with my brand new My Mind's Eye All is Bright pad.  To give the image more of a vintage/shabby feel to match the paper I used soft hues to color it up and since I wanted to keep as much of the paper patterns visible I cut the image out for a smaller footprint. I cut the banner from another sheet of the patterned paper and secured the ends with linen thread and brads. The lacy border was cut with the Queen of Hearts CutUps.

  1. The banner makes it appear as if your girl is at a Christmas street fair keeping warm with her cup of cocoa. Very attractive and creative card!
