Hello

So sorry for the bloggie absence. We were on a beach vacation last week. And unfortunately when I returned home with what I thought was simple sinus congestion turned out to be a full blown, raging, kick-me-in-the-butt, summer cold. I mean really, how does that happen? I have gotten progressively worse as the week has gone by.

I've also had to catch up on some design team work - thankfully, I had colored a few images before I left for the beach or I would be in real trouble with deadlines. I also had an ATC swap to complete which I finished up yesterday. Plus loads and loads of laundry, the regular house stuff, etc. I hit a wall last night and went to bed around 10 which is about 4 hours before I normally get there. I woke up very early this morning unable to breath. It was easier to just get up rather than struggle to breath in between coughing spells. Summer colds are just the worst. And yes, I am aware that I am whining.

I did find one card in my folder that I could share although it does not feature any coloring. I have been trying to use up some of my scrapbook stash and I just happened to notice one day that this Cosmo Cricket chipboard piece from several years ago looked great with the My Mind's Eye On the Sunny Side patterned paper. I added a pennant flag cut with My Favorite Things Die-namics for the sentiment. I dug out my metal rim tags and placed the Studio Calico Veneer bicycle on it. Easy!

  1. So sorry to read you caught a cold during vacation. Hope you had fun prior to the cold! And you have every right to whine. Btw, your card is super cute! The bicycle really does look like it was made to go with those patterned papers! And I love the accent you made with the metal ring tag and wood cut out. Sending healing thoughts and prayers your way!
