What's the Buzz?

I actually managed to get into my craft room on Saturday and - gasp - actually got a card completed for a challenge.

When I saw the challenge at the Rainbow Card Challenge was "yummy yellow", I knew it not only gave me a change to use one of my favorite paper pads Kaisercraft Shine Bright, I could also use a stamp set that has languished unused in my stash for quite a while. I don't know why it has taken me so long to use the Reverse Confetti The Buzz set because it is so very cute. I stamped the three images onto Neenah cardstock, cut out with the matching dies, then colored with Copic Markers. I used both dies from the Reverse Confetti Stitched Hex Tag dies to cut from both linen cardstock and patterned paper, added twine in the center and attached the stamped elements using foam tape. To prepared the background, I used more patterned paper for a bottom border, then adhered the image piece with a layer of craft foam. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the card front.

Products: Reverse Confetti stamps and dies, Kaisercraft dp, PTI cs, Divine Twine, Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Hive-C00, C1, C3, C5, Y0000, Y01, Y02; Bees-N1, N3, N5, N7, Y0000, Y01, Y02, W00, E81

Have a blessed Sunday,

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks} Four Seasons Duo CutUps

I am back with the last day of The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks.  All the new products are in The Cat's Pajamas store now.
Today we are featuring an awesome new die set, the Four Seasons Duo

This is the perfect set to get those scraps out which is exactly what I did using a common color for the base and another for an accent. I used "Stick It" to adhere everything. After cutting the postage edge mat from white cardstock I used the matching die from the Stitched Square & More set to emboss the stitched lines. After adding patterned paper to the card front, I staggered the four "stamps" across using a layer of craft foam on two of them. The sentiment from the Simply Said set was stamped onto a fishtail banner cut with a die from the Easy Rosette CutUps

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, PTI dp and cs, Doodlebug enamel dots, PTI ink

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks} Travel Stickers and Mailbox Die

I am back with another The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek. All the new products will be made available for purchase as revealed throughout the week with the full release on March 26.

We are showcasing the new Travel Stickers stamp set along with the Mailbox CutUps today and I have two cards to share with you, both of them are on the masculine side. I don't know about you, but I never have enough masculine cards on hand.

First up features the adorable new Mailbox CutUps. It is the perfect size for cards and tags. I cut the mailbox from three different colors of cardstock, and then hinged the "door" with double sided tape on the back so I could over stuff the box with letters cut using the small envie die in the set. The cutout die was used on the card front base before attaching the completed collection box using a layer of craft foam. I used the Sending CutUps to cut out the word twice from mist cardstock, glued together for stability. The sentiment from new The Year of the Pig was stamped in pure poppy ink.

I made another masculine card by first cutting a rectangle from stone cardstock and then stamped two of the images from the Travel Stickers set using black ink. I then used the cutout die from the Mailbox CutUps set to create a frame around the stickers. Using the smallest die from the previously released Square Stamp CutUps, I cut  once from white cardstock and and then again from stone cardstock. After stamping the sentiment from the Simply Said set onto a square, I stacked them together. The card base was cut from mist cardstock and then I added a strip of patterned paper. Before attaching the main image panel, I threaded twine twine the holes at the bottom, adhered the square stamp set and tied the twine around here. A couple of "letters" cut using a die from the Mailbox CutUps were added to the image panel as a final touch.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, Reverse Confetti dp and cs, PTI cs, Hemptique twine, Altenew ink

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks} Jungle Boogie

It's Fri-Yay and we have yet another sneak peek for The Cat's Pajamas. Products are released as revealed with the full release on March 26.

We are featuring the Jungle Boogie stamp set today.  There are so many cute ways to use this set.

I stamped the elephant onto Copics X-Press It cardstock, colored with Copic makers, then fussy cut out. I created a striped background by stamping an image from the Watercolor Basics set across the front of a linen cardstock piece several times using sweet blush ink, then cut out using a stitched die. The  main die from the Balloon Frame die set to create a cutout, then cut out one of the balloons and string using the additional dies in the set. The sentiment from the It's All About the Cake set was stamped in the cutout, then the elephant, balloon and string were attached using a layer of craft foam for a baby/toddler birthday card.
