{The Cat's Pajamas} Stinking About You

Good morning all. I hope your day is beautiful!

I have a clean and simple card featuring the new Into the Woods digital set. The main images were originally rather small in the physical stamp set but in digital form the images can be sized however you want them. Which is exactly what I did.

Using Silhouette Studio software, I added the skunk, flower and the trunk image to my page, using the eraser tool to erase the branches and leaves from the trunk. I resized and sent the images to the front or back as needed until my scene was how I wanted it. I added the two sentiments below the trunk and then printed onto Copic friendly cardstock. After cutting the piece out with a stitched edge die, I colored with Copic markers and added touches of white gel pen. Before attaching to the card base, I wrapped hemptique cord around the panel along the grass line and tied in a small bow. So easy and I didn't have to do any masking which is always a plus for me.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas Digital stamps, PTI cs, Hemptique cord, Signo UniBall pen, Doodlebug enamel dots, MFT die, Copic Markers
Copics: Skunk-W00, W1, T1, T3, T5, T7; Flower-Y02, Y13, Y15, YG01, YG03; Log-E30, E31, E33, W1; Grass-YG61, YG3; Sky-BG0000, BG000

Isn't this skunk so cute? I love all the images in this set.

A Rainbow of Blessings {Picket Fence Studios}

I am sharing another card created for the April Picket Fence Studios release.

I used the new Rainbow Slim Line Insert die which is an addition to the Slim Line Cutting System to create this clean and simple shaker card. After cutting the opening from a sno cone stitched cardstock panel, I stamped the sentiment from the Word Topper Dies Subtitles. I created the shaker sandwich using the Extra Wide Foam Roll which is so easy to use since it has double sided adhesive. I filled the shaker space with the also new Day of Rainbows Sequin Mix.  The three clouds stacked below the rainbow were cut using two dies from the Cloud Dies set.

Products: Picket Fence Studios stamps and dies, MFT and PTI cs, PFS Sequins, PFS ink

Filled to the Brim {Picket Fence Studios}

I am showcasing another card created for the Picket Fence Studios April release.

I stamped one of the sweet girls from the new Filled to the Brim stamp set onto Copic friendly cardstock, cut out with the matching die and colored with Copic markers. I then went to work on the background. I used a brush from the from the Life Changing Blender Brush Set to softly blend spun sugar distress ink onto a stitched cardstock die cut panel and stamped the sentiment in black at the top. After cutting the largest die from the new You are My Cup of Tea Cover Plate from white linen cardstock I attached it to the panel and added the stamped image with foam dimensionals as if she is sitting in a floral garden retreat. A few small pieces including those beautiful tiny butterfly wings from the also new Fly with Me Sequin Mix finished it up.

Products: Picket Fence Studios stamps and dies, Cougar and PTI cs, PFS sequins, PFS and Ranger Distress ink, Copic Markers

I then used a brush from the Life Changing Blender Brush Set  using salvaged patina distressed ink for the sea and tumbled glass for the sky. All the images were attached to the background panel using craft foam including the truncated sentiment piece. A few pieces from the new On a Cloudy Day Sequin Mix finished it up.

April 2022 Release {Picket Fence Studios}

Welcome to the April Picket Fence Studios release. There are some amazing products in this release! I have two projects to share with you today.

I used the new beautiful and intricate A2 Cherry Blossom Cover Plate Die to cut from linen cardstock. It was necessary to use a shim and I also ran it through my die cutting machine several times to make sure I cut all those tiny squares. I freely admit I spent some time on this card but it was worth it in the end. I colored all the flower centers and a bit of each petal with Copic markers and then attached the die cut to a turquoise cardstock card base. The sentiment from the Swanky Friendship Sentiments set released last month was white embossed onto the same cardstock as the card base and then cut with the matching die which I attached with foam dimensionals. Lastly I added two of the butterfly wings from the awesome new Kaleidoscope Butterflies

Products: Picket Fence Studios Stamp and Dies, Reverse Confetti and PTI cs, PFS Butterfly, Versamark ink, Copic Markers
Copics: RV11, R81, R83, Y00, Y02

My next card is really different from the first showing you the variety of products Picket Fence Studios has to offer. I stamped the new Cancer Girl which is part of the Horoscope Girls collection onto Copic friendly cardstock, cut out with the matching die, then colored with Copic Markers. To prepared the background I placed the new Retro Burst 6x6 Stencil over a stitched cardstock panel then layered the largest negative piece from the A2 Vertical Messy Watercolor Stencil over it in to use as a mask since I wanted to partially stencil. I then blended salvaged patina distress ink using a brush from the Life Changing Blender Brush Set. The sentiment was stamped in black and gala red directly onto the panel. The image was then attached using craft foam.

Products: Picket Fence Studios stamps and dies, Reverse Confetti cs, PFS Stencil, PFS, Ranger Distress and WPlus9 ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E00, E01; Eyes-B41, B32, B34; Lips-E30, E32, E35; Hair-E30, E33, E35; Crabs-R22, R24; Dress-BG0000, BG01, BG02

Easter Treats {Picket Fence Studios}

Today's Easter themed packages were created for a group of women at my church. They are secularly decorated on the outside but the inside holds the true meaning of Easter including a handheld acacia wood cross. I also added a few pastel wrapped chocolate kisses and a bit of paper Easter grass.

I used lots of products as you can probably see. The image bases were cut from white cardstock using the dies from the Slim Line Stitched and Scalloped Rectangles and Alpha Die Cutting System. For the backgrounds I used a die from the Slim Line Die Cutting System for the "grass" on two of them and stamped Endless Clouds on another. All the line art images were stamped and cut with Eastertime stamps and dies and Chloe's Garden stamps and dies using the Black Hybrid ink pad. The sentiment based images were stamped using berry sorbet and hibiscus burst ink.

The diecuts for the sun and flowers were cut using the small dies rom the Slim Line Full Front Shaker Die

I finished up the image panels with pieces from the On an Egg Hunt Sequin Plus MixAfter filling the pillow shaped acrylic packages, I tied a ribbon bow around them including a cross charm, then added the strip of patterned paper and an image circle.

Products: Picket Fence Studios Stamps and Dies, Echo Park and Doodlebug dp; PTI and Bazzill cs, PFS Sequins, PFS and PTI ink, Copic Markers
Copics: (Happy Easter) Bunny Ears-E40, E41, E42, R00, R02; (Tall Girl Bunny) Bunny-W00, E81, R00, R02; Clothing-B41, B32; Flower-Y00, Y21; (Boy Bunny) Bunny-C00, C1, C3, R00, R02; Clothing-G20, G21, G24, W00, E81; (Girl Bunny Kisses) Bunny-E50, E51, E53, R00, R02; Clothing-YG01, YG03, B41, B32

Best Hugs Ever {Picket Fence Studios}

Good morning all. I  am sharing another card I created for the Picket Fence Studios March release

Using the Black Hybrid Ink Pad, I stamped the raccoons, bears, foxes and the various botanicals and hearts from the new The Best Hugs Ever then cut out with the matching dies and did the same with the owls from the More of the Best Hugs Ever stamp and die set.  All the images were colored with Copic markers, adding a bit of detail with a white gel pen on the animals and heart. I used the smaller frame from the 5x7 Double Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut from textured white and scarlet jewel cardstock using the inside white piece for my background. I then cut four circles out of it and backed with the woodgrain piece. With a bit of masking I stamped the partial sentiment then added the word die from the More of the Best Hugs Ever die set to finish it out. After securing the frames and inside piece to a 5x7 card base, I attached the images using either glue or foam dimensionals.

Products: Picket Fence Studios stamps and dies, PTI, Bazzill and EH cs, PFS ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Raccoons-T0, T1, T3, T5, T7, W00, E81; Owls-W00, W1, W2, W5,YR31, E81, E33, E35; Bears-E50, E51, E53, E57, E23, E27; Foxes-W00, E81, E00, E11, E13, E19; Flower-381, R37, R39, R59; Greenery-G40, G43, G46; Heart-R37, R39 R59

Under the Sea {Purple Onion Designs}

The warmer weather in Alabama makes me think it's time to go to the beach even though I know the water is still too cold. That doesn't keep me from dreaming about it though. In the meantime, I have an ocean themed card today which features images from the Under the Sea collection by Purple Onion Designs

I first stamped Rocks, Seaweed & Coral onto Copic friendly cardstock, masked it, then stamped one of the images from the Branch Coral Set and also two small images from Seashells & Starfish.  Separately I stamped the Crab and then colored all with Copic markers. I slipped the ocean piece underneath a linen cardstock panel that I cut an offset circle into. The sentiment from the Sea-timents set was stamped using Versamark ink and then white heat embossed. After attaching the fussy cut crab and the sentiment strip using foam dimensionals, I added a trio of flat backed pearls.

Products: Purple Onion Designs stamps, PTI and Reverse Confetti cs, Picket Fence Studios Pearls, Picket Fence Studios and Versamark ink
