Psalm 31:25

Good morning. I have a faith based card for a friend who is suffering from very serious health issues.

I stamped Papertrey Ink Psalm Reflections: February using sage ink onto white linen cardstock, cut out with a double stitched oval die then trimmed off to fit the panel. I then stamped the vase and handle from the Vase Collection 13 Mini Stamp Set using stone and london fog ink and cut out and the decorative balls with wheat ink, then cut out with all the matching dies. The greenery came from the older Forest Floor: Winter stamp and die set, stamped with fern and stardust ink. I dry embossed the soft stone background panel using the Spellbinders Dazzling Dots embossing folder.

Products: Papertrey Ink stamps and dies, PTI cs, Spellbinders embossing folder, Memento, Reverse Confetti, The Stamp Market and Concord & 9th ink

Have a great week.

{The Cat's Pajamas} Get Well Soon

Good morning all. The March release of digital products from The Cat's Pajamas is available now.

I combined the image from the new Big Cups and the sentiment from the also new A Cuppa digital stamp sets and printed onto Copic friendly cardstock using Silhouette software, then cut out with a stitched edge circle die. I added a simple patterned paper strip in the middle of the card front, then wrapped dark blue twine around it several times. The image piece was attached with a layer of craft foam for a masculine get well card. A trio of enamel dots provided some finishing touches.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas digital stamps, MFT dp, PTI cs, Doodlebug enamel dots, The Twinery twine, Copic Markers
Copics: Penguin-W00, E81, YR30, YR31, Y38; Cup-B91, B93, B95, B97; Teabag-W00, E81, R20, R24, R27

I don't make masculine type cards nearly enough. It feels good to get one completed. Have a blessed day.

A Holiday Bear Hug

Today's card is for the My Favorite Things Ready, Set, Christmas challenge

I stamped the images from the My Favorite Things Chill Holiday onto Copic friendly cardstock, cut out with the matching dies and colored with Copic markers. I used the Gift Box Cover-Up to cut from navy blue textured cardstock, then placed on a patterned paper background which came from the Colorful Christmas pad. I then stamped the sentiment onto Hawaiian shores cardstock and white heat embossed. All the pieces were attached to the panel using foam dots.

Products: My Favorite Things stamps and dies, MFT dp, PTI and Bazill cs, Altenew and Versamark ink, Copic Markers

You are in My Thoughts

Today's card represents the colors of lime green and cyan in the current Colors Hue Challenge 58. It was a no brainer to join in as these are some of my very favorite colors.

I blended green parakeet and peacock feathers distress ink over the stencil in The Greetery Jumbo Curiosity: Dragonfly Die set, then cut out with the matching dies. I cut out the background panel from linen cardstock using a stitched edge die, then created an offset opening using the My Favorite Things Peek-a-Boo Circle Window die and backed with patterned paper. The sentiment from the retired The Cat's Pajamas Simply Said set was stamped using green parakeet ink direct to paper. The dragonfly pieces were attached over the "window" using a combo of glue and foam dots.

Products: The Greetery die, The Cat's Pajamas stamp, Lawn Fawn dp, PTI cs, MFT die, PTI and Ranger Distress ink

Happy Ash Wednesday!

Have a Blooming Good Day {Purple Onion Designs}

I discovered quite by accident that I never actually posted this card I created in 2021. I remember making it as it was for A Happy Little Place release illustrated by Stacey Yacula so I don't know how I managed to overlook it.

Since it has been so long ago I can't give many details about it other than I used Junie (bunny), the Country Flower Set and the sentiment from the Around the Town Sentiment set.

Spring, anyone?

Welcome Little One {Purple Onion Designs}

Good morning all. Are you waiting on spring? I know I am ready.

For today's clean and simple baby card, I stamped one of the ducklings from the True & Blue set onto Copic friendly cardstock, colored with Copic markers, then fussy cut out. I used a couple of retired dies by C.C. Designs to cut the cracked eggs from white cardstock and The Cat's Pajamas to cut grass from green parakeet cardstock then blended. I added some blended on ink to both for a few lowlights. I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Occasions Sentiment Set directly underneath the grass die cut then attached the duckling and eggs with foam dots. A strip of patterned paper slipped underneath the image panel provided a bit more color.

Products: Purple Onion Designs stamps, Catherine Pooler dp, PTI cs, The Cat's Pajamas and C.C. Designs dies, Atenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Duckling-Y0000, Y13 Y15, Y17, YR02; Eggs-W00, E81

Thank you for stopping by my little corner of blog land.

Perfect Timing

Today's card is a first for me, a faith based Valentine.

I used some my new The Greetery goodies including the Hearts at Home: Clock die and the Ribbon Maker Heart Strip die for a clean and layered masculine Valentine. The sentiment came from the Reverse Confetti Perfect Timing sentiment set (sadly, no longer in business).

Products: The Greetery dies, Reverse Confetti sentiment stamp, PTI and MFT cs, Altenew ink

I created this for our interim pastor at our church. He is also our small group's missionary connection so we are showing our support with some baked goodies.
