*New* The Sweetest Little Town by Stacey Yacula (Purple Onion Designs)

It's the most wonderful time of year again when Stacey Yacula and Purple Onion Designs share the new annual Christmas collection. It is certainly something I look forward to every year. The collection is called The Sweetest Little Town and boy,  is it ever the sweetest!

I posted this to instagram (@nancyhthomas) but due to Hurricane Zeta I have been unable to blog. Power came back on Thursday night after 18 hours powerless. This morning the cable came back on but I have no internet at this point so I am using my phone as a hotspot. It's s-l-o-w going but better than nothing.

I stamped the new Sweet Snow Friends onto Copic friendly cardstock, then used an open ended hillside die to cut each side leaving a snowy bank, then fussy cut out the rest. I also stamped the Single Pine Tree from a previous release and fussy cut out. All the images were colored with Copic markers and attached to the cardstock background that I found in my stash. The "snow" was already on the whole 12x12 piece and I believe it is probably Club Scrap from back in my old scrapbooking days. The sentiment from the new Holiday Messages set was stamped using gala red ink. I added two tiny clouds to finish it up.

Products: Purple Onion Designs stamps, Club Scrap and PTI cs, The Cat's Pajamas and MFT dies, Altenew and WPlus9 ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Snowman-W00, E81, R30, YR01, YR12, R11, R14, R17, C1, C3, C5, C7, G000, G00, G01, G02, G28; Penquin-W00, E81, R30, YR31, Y17, BV23, BV25, BV29, BG11, BG15, BG13; Bunny-W00, E81, E50, E51, R30, R01, R02, BG11, BG15, BG13, R11, R14, R17; Tree-

The new release is available now at Purple Onion Designs. If you want it all, the complete collection, plus the Holiday Messages sentiment set, is bundled at 30% off the regular price now until November 15th.

Merry Christmas

I am back again with a Christmas card using products from The Greetery. Today's card is the second one using the Pine Blossom stamp and die set. and it couldn't be more different from the first one.

The image was multi-step inked using parsley for the pine needles, gala red, pure poppy and schoolhouse red for the larger flowers, bright buttercup for the smaller flowers and hawaiian shores for the leaves. The set also allows for individual flowers so I added two more red flowers and a yellow spray of smaller flowers. Although I told myself I couldn't use any of the newest release products, I broke down and used the new Wood Slice die set to cut from patterned paper and cardstock, then stamped the sentiment using parsley ink. The main cluster of flowers was attached using a layer of craft foam. Lastly I added Tonic Red Berry Crystal drops for the berries and flower center.

Products: The Greetery stamps and dies, Doodlebug dp, PTI cs, Tonic Studios Crystal Drops, Concord & 9th, PTI and Simon Says ink

Yay, another Christmas card completed. Thanks for stopping by.

Merry Christmas

I am back again with a third card using an image from The Greetery Budding Beauties stamp and die set.

The pine/berry image was stamped using rich cocoa, simply chartreuse, gala red and pure poppy ink. It was attached to a patterned paper block cut with the smallest die from the Nordic Frames set with the sentiment banner layered on the top cut with a die from the Cake Pops Banner. For the background I used the largest die from Nordic Frames set to cut from linen cardstock, then used the dies from the Brick Layer set to create two cutouts and backed the cutouts with smoky gray cardstock. The image panel was attached using a layer of craft foam.

Products: The Greetery stamps and dies, Doodlebug dp, PTI and Stampin' Up cs, Wplus9, Memento and PTI ink

I cut the background from patterned paper using a die from the Postal Frames die, then attached the envie diecut with craft foam inserting the pine bough diecut underneath which was cut with a die from the Botanicals Pine Bough die set before adhering. Believe

I am back today with another card using my The Greetery stamp and die stash while also creating some much needed Christmas cards.

I actually made three cards using the Budding Beauties Winter stamp set and matching dies but I am only showing one of them today. I stamped the holly bunch twice, changing up the ink on the second one just a little. I then stamped the bottles from the Bottled Up stamp set and cut with the matching dies. A simple patterned paper bottom border was added to the card front and sentiments stamped from the Papertrey Ink  December Typed Words Mini set. The images were attached using foam dimensionals

Products: The Greetery stamps and dies, PTI sentiment stamps, Doodlebug dp, PTI cs, Concord &9th, PTI and Simon Says ink

A Pink Merry Christmas

Can I go ahead and confess that I have a lot of The Greetery stamps and dies, yet I've used very few of them?! And I just received items from their new Christmas stamps release. So....I decided I needed to use some of my older ones before I reached into the new goodies.

Today's card features the Pine Blossom stamp and die set. The image was multi-step inked using green parrot for the pine needles, blush, bubble gum and cherry for the flowers and aqua sky for the leaves. The sentiment was stamped onto a pierce circle using cherry ink. The sentiment piece and the two snowflake corner pieces cut with the Frosty Corners die were attached to a ballet slipper cardstock piece cut with a stitched die. The floral image was attached last using a layer of craft foam.

Products: The Greetery stamps and dies, Bazzill, PTI and Concord & 9th cs, The Stamp Market and PTI ink

I am submitting this to the Christmas Kickstart Challenge #40-Pink Christmas.

Stay safe. Be healthy.

{Reminder} The Cat's Pajamas October Challenge

I am here today for the mid month reminder for the October TCP Tuesday Challenge which is to create a project with Autumn in mindThis includes autumnal colors, activities or a holiday such as Thanksgiving or Halloween. TCP products are not required but encouraged. You have until the end of the month to submit a project and there is a $50 gift voucher up for grabs.

I decided to go with a Halloween theme for my reminder card. I have been trying to use more of my patterned paper on my cards because I have so much of it! I haven't used the Big Top CutUps in a long time but in looking back every time I do I make it a bit different. I love Halloween carnivals but I assume they are verboten this year due to Covid. Sigh. I used the ticket strip patterned paper for the sentiment. I also added a small pumpkin stamped and cut using the Year of the Rat bundle

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, Doodlebug dp, PTI cs, Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Pumpkin-YG01, YG03, YR20, YR23, YR24, Y35

Post your projects here. Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe.

Peace on Earth

Hello. I have a Christmas for today's post.

After stamping an angel from the Reverse Confetti Joyous Holiday stamp set and cutting out with the matching die, I colored with Copic Markers. The star was from the set was stamped with golden glitz ink and also cut out with the matching die. I also used a gold gel pen on each of the diecuts. I used the Inside Scallop Circle Tag to cut from gold metallic cardstock. This started out being a shaker card but then I decided I did not want to cover up the pretty angel themed patterned paper. The sentiment was stamped onto a tag cut with a die from the Three Tags set. I added the small star diecut to it, then tied to the circle tag with gold metallic thread. The circle tag was then attached to the cardstock and patterned paper background using foam dimensionals.

Products: Reverse Confetti stamps and dies, Echo Park dp, Bazzill, Michael's and PTI cs, Delicata and Altenew ink
Copics: Skin-E0000, E00, E01; Hair-E30, E33, E35; Dress-W00, E84; Wings-W00, E81

I am submitting this to the Color Hues Challenge #3 of gold and cream. Have a blessed day!
