Be Comforted

Hello there. I am always in need of sympathy cards and never seem to have something available when I do. I hope to remedy that this year. This particular card is for the the Flower Challenge #88 to add a heart.

I stamped the images from the Pinkfresh Studio Sweet Friend Floral stamp set onto Copic friendly cardstock, cut out with the matching dies and colored with Copic markers. For the background I created an opening in a linen cardstock panel with a heart shaped die, then backed with patterned paper. The floral pieces were inserted into the heart using a bit of glue and foam dimensionals to attach. The sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Faith set was stamped direct to paper.

Products: Pink Fresh Studios stamps, Simon Says Stamp, PTI cs and dp, Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: R00, R02, R05, G40, G43, W00, E81
I hope all is well with you. Have a blessed day.

Sending Hugs

Hello there.  Today's card features a combo of current and retired products from Pinkfresh Studio using the colors from this weeks Color Throwdown #648 challenge.

After stamping and die cutting the flowers and greenery from the (retired) Fleur 1 set, I colored with Copic markers. I attached the various florals to an oval piece cut with the smaller die from the Braided Oval Essentials set. The sentiment was stamped using the Perfect Sentiments set and cut with the matching die. For the background I spot blended Fresh Pear ink onto the card front using the Simple Plaid Stencil. The oval piece was attached using a layer of craft foam.

Products: Pinkfresh Studio stamps, dies and stencil, PTI cs, Altenew ink and PinkFresh Studio ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Flowers-YR00, YR01, YR02, YR04, V01, V12, V15, V17, RV11, R81, R83, R85; Greenery-YG00, YG03

I hope your week is off to a great start!

Be Merry

Today's card represents Christmas card #2 for 2018. I have some new stamps with a new-to-me stamp company and I couldn't wait to get them inky.

I used the December days set from Pinkfresh Studio. I limited myself to purchasing 3 sets but I am thinking I will definitely be back for more. I did some off the edge diecutting on the front panel, then stamped the matching image onto it as well as the sentiment and then colored with Copic markers. I also stamped the candy cane image twice using pure poppy ink and cut out with the matching dies. After finishing the edge on the inside of the card with patterned paper, I added the candy canes to the saucer and a trio of enamel dots for a very mail friendly clean and simple card.

Products: Pinkfresh Studio stamps and dies, Reverse Confetti dp, PTI cs, Doodlebug enamel dots, Memento ink, Copic Markers
Copics: B41, B32, R20, R22, R24, R27, W00, E81

Maybe thinking of Christmas cards will trick me into believing it is cooler. Probably not. But a girl can dream.
