First let me say. It's hot. I checked the outdoor temp on my deck late yesterday afternoon and it registered 110.8. Yeah. And it's suppose to be hotter today and tomorrow. Guess I will be hibernating in the house while the power meter whirs away making that cha-ching, cha-ching sound as it drains our bank account.
And on a lighter note. Can you be in love with paper? If so, I'm head over heels for the Pebbles Sunny Side pad. I just may make every card from now on with it (not really). I used My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge (MFTWSC78) combining it with the Claire Keay Hello Sunshine image. The sentiment came from the patterned paper and I used three the My Favorite Things die-namics, including the Medium Scallop Border, Butterflies and Mini Royal Rose. The fringed flower behind the rose and the ric rac border are both from Papertrey Ink.
Products: My Favorite Things stamp and Die-namics, Pebbles dp, PTI dies, Basic Grey pearls, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E00, E11, R20; Clothing-BG10, BG11, BG15, RV10, RV11, R83, B91, B95, B99; Grass-G20, YG91, YG93, YG95; Flowers-Y21, Y23, Y35; Ladybug-R32, R35, R37; Shadows-B0000, B000
I hope you have a great weekend.

Merry Christmas (TCP Tuesday 216)
Good morning. Today's card is for TCP Tuesday (TCPTUES216) which is another inspiration challenge from our hostess, Jen.
I was inspired by the lattice work in the lamp and of course the pretty greens and whites. I wanted to do another Christmas card so I chose to work with Freezin' Season which was a favorite from last winter's release. After coloring with Copic Markers I cut the image out and attached it to a piece cut with the Snowflake Lace Paper CutUps. I used a more traditional sentiment from the A Beary Good Year stamp set, cut with the banner strip from the Easy Rosette CutUps and anchored with one of the snowflakes cutouts.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, Melissa Frances and Authentique dp, Copic Markers
Copics: Bunny-E40, E41, E42, W00; Snowman-G0000, G000, G40, YG91, G82, G85
Here are the Details for TCP Tuesday:
1. Each Tuesday we will give you a challenge which will be posted in the TCP forum on SCS first and subsequently on the Dancing in Pajamas blog.
2. You will have until the end of the month to complete the challenge.

C.C. Designs Review - Snorkeling Beatrice
Today is review day on the All That Scraps blog and I am joining some of the design team members in showing you more projects using the June release.

Holiday (TCP Tuesday 215)
It's TCP Tuesday time again. Amy is our hostess this month with one of Leigh's sketches.
Since I'm trying to get a head start on my Christmas cards, I chose to work with the Raising Cane set released last winter. I combined him with some older My Mind's Eye Colorful Christmas paper. I'm down to just a few scraps of it unfortunately. I generally followed the sketch although I did round my corners at the top of the image panel rather than the bottom. The tiny tag for the sentiment was a stamp from the Build a Bingo set.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps, My Mind's Eye dp, Ki Memories brads, Quickutz die, PTI felt and twine, Copic Markers
Copics: Bunny-E40, E50, E51; Bunny Hat and Nose/Candy Cane-R81, R83, R85, B0000, B000, B01, B04, YG0000, YG01, YG03, YR12, YR16, YR18, W00, E81; Shadows-BG0000, BG01

You Make My Heart Spin (TCP Tuesday 214)
Today's card is for this week's TCP Tuesday (TCPTUES214). Susan is our hostess this week with a Stamp/CutUps challenge. The stamp theme is "You Blow Me Away". Some stamp examples include Catch My Drift, Field of Pinwheels or as in my case, What a Blast. And for the CutUps part of the challenge to use the Pinwheel or Cloud Border.
I stamped P.J. onto Copics X-Press It cardstock swiping away the pinwheel portion of the image replacing it with a 3D pinwheel cut with the Pinwheel CutUps. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece which was cut with one of the Circus Panel CutUps. The patterned paper is all from the new My Mind's Eye On the Sunny Side. Some stitching and brads provided the finishing touches.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, My Mind's Eye dp, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Bear-E50, E51, E53, E55, E81, 0; Pinwheel pole-R32, R35, R37; Shadows-BG0000, BG10, Y21, Y23, Y35; Clouds-E81, 0
All the details for this TCP Tuesday challenge can be found on Alma’s blog. As always, there is potential for fame (Pick of the Litter) and/or fortune (Pick of the Week) and possibly even Swanky Stamper of the Month.

O Holy Night
Good morning. I hope you had a nice weekend. My 3 year old granddaughter came over to visit Saturday. She has started pre-school so I don't get to see her as often. It was a real treat to spend time with her.
Today's card is for this weeks My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge (MFTWSC75). Can it be considered on a roll to have completed three of these in a row? After stamping the image from In a Manger I cut out with a Spellbinders Nestabilities circle, then colored with Copic markers. I combined it with some October Afternoon and SEI patterned paper. I've been hoarding several 12x12 sheets of the OA paper for a while now, hoping to use it on some Christmas cards this year. The ribbon has been in my stash for a very long time and I topped it with a Prima flower center and used another to represent a star. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece cut with one of the mini tab Die-namics.
Products: My Favorite Things stamp and Die-namics, October Afternoon and SEI dp, Prima Centers, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Lamb-E40, E81, R00, C1, C3, C5, 0; Clothing-E40, E41, E42, R56, R59, R89, B93, B95, B97, B99; Staff- E70, E71; Manger-E50, E51, E53, W00, W1, W2, W5; Shadows-C00, C1; Floor-E50, E51, E41, E42, E44
That's it for today. I hope to see you back here tomorrow.

Summer Florals (TCP Tuesday 213)
I paired up these summery colors with the bunny from the Kick Some Grass stamp set and patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Howdy Doody pad. To add to the whole floral theme, I created a couple of flowers using the Sunflower Rosette CutUps. See below if you want to know how I did them.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, My Mind's Eye dp, Liquid Pearls, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Bunny-E50, E51, E53, G0000; Flowers/Greenery-Y21, Y23, Y35, R00, R02, R05, R30, R32, BG0000, BG10, BG11; Shadows-G0000
All the details for this TCP Tuesday challenge can be found on Alma’s blog. As always, there is potential for fame (Pick of the Litter) and/or fortune (Pick of the Week) and possibly even Swanky Stamper of the Month. Good luck!
To make the flowers:
1. Die cut the flower using the Sunflower Rosette Cutups, then cut one of the score lines as shown.
2. Apply glue to the back of one of the petals next to the cut line, then carefully align it over the next petal on the other side of the cut line, holding in place until dried. This creates a "cupped" effect. Enlarge the center circle (I used a Crop-a-Dile).
3. Cut a strip of plastic netting from a produce bag (mine is orange because it came from a bag of oranges) and roll up.
4. Insert rolled netting through the hole of the flower as shown. leaving enough in the front to represent a flower center.
5. Trim the netting at the back. When applying the flower to a project, apply the glue and spread out the netting. Hold in place until dried.
Here are several completed flowers:

Sweet November Preview - Patriotic Pixies
Welcome to the last day of Sweet November previews for the month of June. There are two different groups in this release, the Tadpole Pixies and the Patriotic Pixies. Today we are introducing both Patriotic Pixies Betsy and Patty.
First up is Betsy. I stamped and colored her with Copic Markers, cutting with Spellbinders Nestabilities. I fashioned a flag using diecuts and strips of paper for the stripes. I used the smallest ticket from C.C. Designs Tickets Cutters for the sentiment which is simply letter stickers. I used Ranger Liquid Pearls on the sparklers and the paper is from the Lily Bee Double Dutch 6x6 pad.
Products: Sweet November stamp, C.C. Designs Tickets Cutters, Lily Bee dp, Wilton paper doily, Making Memories letter stickers, Ranger Liquid Pearls, The Cat's Pajamas CutUps, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E00, E11, R20; Hair-E31, E35, E39; Clothing-R22, R24, R27, W00, E81; Shadows-BG0000, BG01
Next is Patty. I stamped the image, cutting with Spellbinders Nestabilities with a bit of out of the box action. I dug deep in my 12x12 paper stash and found the music page from Flair - all the other paper is very old Scrapworks (a name from the past for sure). I allowed the song title to be my sentiment.
Products: Sweet November stamp, Flair dp, PTI buttons, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E00, E11, R20; Hair-E50, E51, E53, E55; Clothing/Rocket / Stars-W00, E81, R22, R24, R29, B93, B97, B99

I allowed the patterned paper from the Echo Park Beach Paradise pad to be my sentiment. After coloring Sunny with Copic markers, I cut her out and positioned her on the patterned paper, after adding some Ranger Glossy Accents to the sunglasses. The netting behind her came from a bag of oranges. I used the Sunflower Cutters to represent the sun. The shell was cut with the C.C. Designs Starfish and Shell Cutters which is also new for this release.
Products: Sweet November stamp, C.C. Designs Cutters, Echo Park dp, PTI button, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E00, E21, E11, R20; Hair-E55, E57, E29; Bathing Suit-BG10, BG11, BG72, YR12, YR14, YR16
This collection will be available for purchase at the All That Scraps store Thursday, June 7 at 8 pm CDT. Be sure to also click on over to our special guest designer Erin. Amy, the illustrator of the Sweet November line has a card to share with you and also outlines the details on how to win some blog candy which includes the stamp we are all using today.
