A Cup of Cheer

Todays Christmas card was created for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #33 to feature candy and/or cookies. 

I used the Honey Bee Stamps Mugs & Kisses dies to cut the cups from patterned paper and the rest of objects from cardstock scraps. After that it was easy to assemble the coffee cups and figuring out to arrange all the items on the stitched edge linen cardstock panel. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Hug in a Mug directly onto the panel and the other onto a white cardstock scrap which was then cut out with the matching die (both stamped with gala red ink). After attaching all to the card front I added clay "chocolate sprinkles" to one up and colorful clay candy to the second one.

I hope you are having a happy and safe Memorial Day. Let's just remember that it's about more than backyard barbeques and trips to the lake. 

I stamped three of the images from the Honey Bee Oh My Whiskers (retired) set, then cut out with the matching dies. I prepared the background by water coloring with tumbled glass and gathered twigs distress ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Love Enclosed set directly onto the panel, then secured al images with dimensionals.

Pet Sympathy Card

A friend recently lost her cat of many years so I created this card to accompany a small remembrance gift.
