It is release day at the The Cat's Pajamas! Seven new stamps, seven new dies and new sequins are available for purchase in The Cat's Pajamas shop. We are celebrating the release with a blog hop. If you arrived here from the extremely talented Julee's blog you are in the right place. If not, then please return to Melissa's blog because she is the beginning of the hop.
I cut an opening onto a linen cardstock piece using the outer die from the new Farm Duo CutUps backed with patterned paper, then added a border strip on the side. I stamped the sentiment from the also new Scripted Sentiments set using weathervane ink. I also stamped the images from the super cute new Hay Neighbor set and cut out with the matching dies from the new Farming CutUps. After coloring the images with Copic markers, they were added to the card front using a layer of craft foam.

My second card features the new Birdcage die which I cut from linen cardstock and the two birds from the set from patterned paper. The image panel was cut and embossed with the new Flutter By CutUps, then one of the birds and the birdcage was attached. The sentiment from the new Scripted Sentiments set was stamped in black ink and I perched the second bird onto it. I am hoping the recipient sees the sick (bird in cage) to getting well (bird that is free) imagery I was going for. Using dies from the new Folklore Flowers CutUps, I cut the flower from patterned paper and the flower stem from cardstock, then trimmed so it would fit the card. The center of the flower was stamped using black ink and attached using a layer of craft foam. The stem was inserted in the bird cage holes at the top. There is something so fresh about yellow and green paired together.
