Welcome to the first day of seven days of The Cat's Pajamas sneak peeks. There are 5 new stamp sets, 7 die sets and 4 new stencils in this release. All the new products will be made available for purchase as revealed throughout the week with the full release on September 24 at which time there will be special discounting.
First up is a simple Halloween tag for the adult trick or treaters which I will give to a neighbor. I used the previously released Halloween Tag Duo to cut the bottom tag from white cardstock and the top from black. After stamping the witch image and a couple of more stars from the new Hey Boo set, I colored with Copic markers. I sandwiched the two pieces together and added the sentiment stamped onto a double ended fishtail tag, attaching to the piece with foam squares. The tag was tied onto a bottle of wine with several strands of curl ribbon for a fun and festive look. I am going to have to confess that I have no idea if the wine is good - I just liked the colors for Halloween. The things we do for our craft!
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, PTI cs, Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Witch-E00, E02, N1, N3, N5, BG01, BG02; Bottle-YG01, YG03, YR01, YR12, YR04; Cloud-W00, E81; Stars-Y11
This day also coincides with our mid-month reminder that the current TCP Tuesday Challenge is all about layering.
With the challenge in mind I used the new Birch Snowglobe die to create a snowy scene using patterned paper and cardstock. The sentiment from the previously released Believe set was stamped using gala red ink onto a double ended fishtail tag and attached to the panel using foam squares. I cut the birds from pure poppy cardstock using the previously released The Birds die. I placed two of them on the birch trees and one perched onto the sentiment tag backed with a snowflake cut with a die from the previously released Five Snowflakes die set (which is not exclusive to TCP).
