{The Cat's Pajamas} Mini Valentines
Hello fellow crafters! Have you checked out the The Cat's Pajamas January release yet? It is the sweetest combo of new images and some that were formerly physical stamps now converted to digital form.
Today's project is a trio of clean and simple mini Valentine's using the cute Food of Love digital stamp set.
Using Silhouette software I printed the various food, sentiments and one shadow from the set onto Neenah cardstock, then cut out each using a stitched edge die. After coloring with Copic markers I used the first small heart die I found in my stash for a heart shape cut out on each panel so the red card base would show through. A few flat back pearls and some gel pen highlights finished them up. Each card is a top folding 3.25 x 4.5 and easily fits inside an A1 size envie.
Have you started your Valentines day cards yet? These were so fun and easy to make!
Miss You {Purple Onion Designs}
Today's card is the last one I created from the new Tofu & Friends-Love & Joy collection illustrated Chilliezgraphy by Pei (@chilliezgraphy) for Purple Onion Designs. To change things up I decided to go with a garden type look rather than a Valentine/love theme.
After stamping the Flowers from Tofu image onto Copics X-Press It cardstock, I colored with Copic markers and fussy cut out. For the background I did some messy ink smooshing onto distress cardstock using mowed lawn distress ink. I then used a couple of abstract stamps from an older stamp set using the same mowed lawn distress ink. I used an older die to cut the fence from woodgrain cardstock. The sentiment and image were attached using foam dimensionals.
Just a reminder, you only have a couple of more days (1/24/2024) to take advantage of the special bundle pricing if you want the whole collection.

Hug {Purple Onion Designs}
How are you liking the new Tofu & Friends-Love & Joy collection from Purple Onion Designs? I was in a total creative funk until I received these sweet stamps from Michele. I am regretting only asking for four of them now!
After stamping the Brownie Bear & Tofu Cuddles image onto Copics X-Press It card stock, I cut out with a stitched edqe square die with a bit of out of the box action with the cat's tail. I blended around the edges with spun sugar distress ink and colored the image with Copic markers. I used the same square to create a cutout on the main panel then inlaid the image square into it. For the sentiment I cut out using some older alpha dies to create a shaker filled with bits and bobs from a spring sequin mix.
Brrr...it's cold. Stay safe. Stay warm.

Love is in the Air {Purple Onion Designs}
I have another card using an image from the new Tofu & Friends-Love & Joy collection illustrated Chillezegraphy by Pei (@chillezegraphy) for Purple Onion Designs.
If you have checked out Instagram you know the design team loved the Micey Smooches image and I am no exception. This little mouse couple could not be any sweeter.After stamping onto plain white card, I masked the image as well as the bottom horizontal edge. I blended on worn lipstick and spun sugar distress inks, removed the masks, then tapped on plain water with a fan brush. After the panel dried, I colored the mice with Copic markers. The sentiment from the Love Sentiment Set was stamped directly below the mice couple for a clean and simple card.
Don't forget that if you are a got to have it all crafter, there is special bundle pricing until January 24.

*New* Purple Onion Designs Love & Joy
Love is in the air here at Purple Onion Designs with a new Tofu & Friends Love & Joy collection from Chillezegraphy by Pei (@chillezegraphy).
The collection includes 7 images and two sentiment sets. i chose to work with Love, Brownie Bear stamp first.
I stamped this cute guy onto Copics X-Press it cardstock using Altenew ink, colored him with Copic markers, then did some fussy cutting. I prepared the linen cardstock background by stamping some abstract splotches with a retired set of stamps using bright buttercup ink. The sentiment from the Love Sentiment Set was stamped direct to paper and before attaching the image with foam dimensionals i anchored it with a black circle frame.

A Happy Birthday
Well obviously 2023 was a bust creative wise as I made the fewest projects/cards in my 14 years of stamping/cardmaking. According to my blog stats, 38 to be exact! Life threw us a major curve ball last year but God is good and saw us through it all.
Today's card features a Spellbinders club stamp and die set.
I stamped the largest image from the Diamond & Arch Motif (Nov22) with Altenew ink onto Copic friendly cardstock, cut out with the matching die and colored with a combo of Copic and Altenew markers. Unfortunately there was a small flaw in the stamp but it was way too late to ask for a replacement. I covered it up with a well placed sequin.
I hope the new year is off to a great start for all of you. Blessings!
