C.C. Designs Preview - Snorkeling Beatrice

****Please scroll to the next post for my Sweet November preview****

Welcome to the first day of several new stamp previews from All That Scraps. We are kicking things off with a new stamp from the C.C. Designs Beatrice collection. These were first introduced last month and there are two new cute versions this month. I am featuring Snorkeling Beatrice today.

Lots of new goodies on this one! After coloring up this cutie with Copic Markers, I cut her out, attaching to a circle cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities. The bubbles were created with the new for this release Bubbles Cutters and I used yet another new die set, the Bubbles Border Cutters. The sentiment is from the Oh So Beachy set from AmyR which is also part of the June release. The patterned paper is from last year's Echo Park Splash pad. I am absolutely loving all these bubbles!

Sweet November Preview - Tadpole Lily

Welcome to day three of Sweet November previews for the month of June. There are two different groups in this release, the Tadpole Pixies and the Patriotic Pixies. Today we are introducing Tadpole Pixie Lily.

After stamping and coloring Lily, I cut her out and attached her to the background scene. The paper is from the new Echo Park Paradise Beach 6x6 pad. I finally succumbed to the Washi Tape craze and just added a couple of small pieces and some staples for a very casual look. The sentiment is from the AmyR Oh So Beachy set which is also part of this month's C.C. Designs release.  Easy and breezy - just the way it should be at the beach!

Sweet November Preview - Tadpole Polly

Welcome to the second of five days of Sweet November previews for the month of June. There are two different groups in this release, the Tadpole Pixies and the Patriotic Pixies. Today we are introducing Tadpole Pixie Polly.

This card is a bit busier than my normal style but I wanted to reflect a hot tropical look. If you have ever visited the Virgin Islands or the Bahamas, you are greeted with an explosion of colors. The patterned paper is from three different Echo Park collections. And the bikini stickers have been shuffled around in my stash forever! The sentiment was computer generated.

Products: Sweet November stamp, Echo Park dp, Prima Flowers, Sandy Lion diecut stickers, Cuttlebug Embossing folder, Copic Markers

Sweet November Preview - Tadpole Phoebe

Welcome to the first of five days of Sweet November previews for the month of June. There are two different groups in this release, the Tadpole Pixies and the Patriotic Pixies. Today we are introducing Tadpole Pixie Phoebe.

After stamping Phoebe, I cut her out with My Favorite Things Die-namics and colored her with Copic Markers. Oh to be this thin!  The patterned paper is a combo of My Mind's Eye and Lily Bee, I added a starfish cut with the new C.C. Designs Starfish and Shell Cutters (a great set that cuts and embosses). A flower, ribbon and buttons provided the finishing touches.

Christmas Bells

I'm squeezing in the current My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge (MFTWSC74) before the June Sweet November previews start tomorrow.

I'm not only trying to get a few of the MFT sketch challenges completed but I'm also starting on my 2012 Christmas cards. I used one of the images from the Inspired by Christmas set, stamping the beribboned bells onto a piece cut with the Vertical Greetings Die-namics, adding patterned paper strips at the top and bottom. I used a Wilton paper doily for the circle portion of the sketch and the Double Scallop border Die-namics for the bottom edge of the next panel. A bit of stitching, twill ribbon in a big bow and a white circle topped with a cream colored snowflake for a tone on tone look provided the finishing touches (cut with the Let it Snowflake Die-namics). The paper is from the Echo Park Season's Greetings pad from last year. Even with the lumpy bow I'm hoping I can mail this without using extra postage which is always a plus at Christmas time when every nickel seems like it flies out the door.

Products: My Favorite Things stamp and Die-namics, Echo Park dp, May Arts twill, Copic Markers
Copics: E81, E84, E87, R24, R29, R59, C00, C1, C3, 0

I hope you stop by tomorrow for the first of five days of Sweet November and then  C.C. Designs previews starting Tuesday. Next week is going to be a busy one on the blog.

Have a great weekend. The weather here has given us a bit of a break from the heat and humidity. It's really quite pleasant.

C.C. Designs Review - Berry Beatrice

Today is review day on the All That Scraps blog and I am joining other ATS design team members in a wrap up of the May release.

I have another card featuring Berry Beatrice. My last project using this stamp was more pastel in nature so I wanted to use brighter colors this time around for a more berry-licious look. I paired this little cutie up with some older patterned papers from the Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety and Odds and Ends pads. The strawberries and blooms were cut with the Strawberry Cutter set. The sentiment is from the AmyR Heart-y Sayings set.

Let's Go (TCP Tuesday 212)

Good morning. Today's card is for TCP Tuesday (TCPTUES212) which is technique challenge from our hostess, Julie to include paper pleating on our projects. Our fellow Cat Packer, Amy Rohl has a tutorial here on Splitcoast Stampers if you need a refresher.

I used a combination of Copics and paper piecing on my image from the Take Off set which is one of very favorite bunny images. My layout is based on May's Sketch for You to Try. Nothing like waiting to the last minute, huh? The paper is all from the My Mind's Eye Away We Go 6x6 pad. I kept the embellishments simple with a buttton and linen thread.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp, My Mind's Eye dp, Linen Thread, PTI button, Copic Markers
Copics: E50, E51, E53, W00, E81, C3, C5, C7, E07, E09

All the details for this TCP Tuesday challenge can be found on Alma’s blog. As always, there is potential for fame (Pick of the Litter) and/or fortune (Pick of the Week) and possibly even Swanky Stamper of the Month.
