You're Magic (TCP Tuesday 236)

Good afternoon. I have a TCP Tuesday card today. This week's hostess is  Jen with another one of her always interesting inspiration challenges (TCPTUES236).

Since I had not used the Presto! bunny in a while I stamped him up and after coloring with Copic Markers, I fussy cut the image.  I was inspired by the colors combining papers from the Glitz Designs Cashmere Dame pad and the yellow from an older Cosmo Cricket pad. A Bazzill Basics embossing folder provided some additional texture. The border was cut with the The Cat's Pajamas Big Pinking Border and I stamped the sentiment directly onto the background panel. The heart is cut using the Heart Trio CutUps. I generally followed the November Sketch for You to Try for the layout.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, Divine Twine, Glitz Designs and Cosmo Cricket dp, Bazzill PTI button, Embossing folder, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Bunny-C00, W00, E81; Wand-Y11, Y13, R24; Hat-N3, N5, N7, N9

All the details for this TCP Tuesday challenge can be found in the TCP Splitcoast Stampers Forum. As always, there is potential for fame (Pick of the Litter) and/or fortune (Pick of the Week) and possibly even Swanky Stamper of the Month. I hope you will join us this week. Good luck!

Autumn Blessings

I am back with a fall themed card using Verve's Tall Oaks stamp set for the main image. I love pumpkins and although I'm crazy about white pumpkins I still like the traditional orange ones too. I used a couple of My Favorite Things Die-namics, one as a curly flourish and the other for a tab in which I stamped the PTI sentiment. I anchored the flourish with a Prima wood button adding a Prima leaf underneath. As I have mentioned before I am making an effort to use some of my pre-made embellishments up so I try to work them in when it adds to the design.

Products: Verve stamp, My Mind's Eye dp, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Prima wood button and leaves, Fancy pants button, Papertrey Ink sentiment stamp, Copic Markers
Copics: E97, E99, YR27, W00, W1, W2, W5, 0

It's definitely feels like fall today. It's been raining since very early in the morning and the leaves are rapidly falling and swirling around.

Roses for You

It's been a busy, busy week around here but I wanted to squeeze in at least one challenge. This is for the There She Goes (TSG180) challenge to dress up your coloring.

I stamped the image from the Forever mini set and colored with Copics, adding shine to the larger petals with Ranger Glossy Accents which also adds a bit of texture (hard to see that in the photo though). I combined it with papers from the My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing (Honey) pad and the matching chipboard buttons. A smattering of Kaisercraft pearls and twill ribbon provided the finishing touches. Simple and sweet.

Products: There She Goes stamp, My Mind's Eye dp and Chipboard, PTI twill, Kaisercraft pearls, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Flowers-W00, E81, RV00, RV10, R81, R83, R85, YR30, YR31, Y21, Y26, Y35, G40, G43, G46; Shadows-BG70, BG0000

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great weekend.

Joy Joy Joy (TCP Tuesday 235)

Good morning. Today's TCP Tuesday challenge card  is another great sketch by our hostess Amy (TCPTUES235). The minute I saw the sketch I knew I wanted to use the J*lly H*liday set. I repeated the J*Y stamp three times adding a different icon for the "o". For the half circle element I doubled up using the Snowflake Lace Paper and the Snowflake CutUps securing with a jewel brad. Some buttons tied with Holiday Divine Twine finished things up. All the paper is from the Carta Bella Be Merry pad.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, Divine Twine, Carta Bella dp, My Mind's Eye jewel brad, PTI buttons, Copic Markers
Copics: RV10, RV13, RV14, W00, E81, BG70, BG0000, BG10, BG11, G40, G43, G46

All That Scraps Review - C.C. Designs Cocoa Trevor

It's review day on the All That Scraps blog and I am joining other members of the design team in showing you more projects using the November release stamps and dies.

I used Cocoa Trevor on today's card. Trevor is part of the Sugarplums collection. There is not enough male images in the stamping world so I'm always thrilled to work with one, especially one as cute as this little guy. I paired him up with the new Carta Bella Winter Fun patterned paper. The coffee cup was cut using the new Coffee and Cocoa Cutters which is a really cute die set that include two different cup styles as well as some sugar cubes (or marshmallows!). Christine has really been knocking her die choices out of the park. Not only do they match All That Scraps stamps but also work so well with other company's stamps.

1 Tini, 2 Tini, 3 Tini

It is "anything but a card" day over at the All That Scraps blog and I have a bottle tag to share with you today. Although I used a die to create the base tag, I would think it would be fairly easy to produce one without it. It features the cute Celebrate set from the Meoples line which was a part of the recent November release stamps and dies. The sentiment is from the same set and I stamped it onto the smaller ticket cut with the Ticket Cutters. I then added a heart, another ticket cut from patterned paper and a flourish cut with the Squiggles Cutters.  I added some pearls, a big bow and buttons strung on thin ribbon for a festive look. The paper is from the My Mind's Eye Summer Splash pad.

Products: C.C. Designs stamp and Cutters, My Mind's Eye dp, Kaisercraft Pearls, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Copic Markers

Never Forget How to Fly (TCP Tuesday 234)

Today's card is for TCP Tuesday (TCPTUES234) which is Susan's Stamp/CutUps challenge to use any "person" image and either the Heart Trio or Queen of Hearts CutUps.

I stamped and colored up the image from Tweet Hearts set. See the bird perched atop the matted image? I cut it with the tiny bird image from the Window CutUps.  Plus I managed to use both of the required Heart Trio and the Queen of Hearts CutUps. At the last minute I threw some buttons and pearls at it! I didn't really mean for this to turn out so "valentine-ish". I was really going for a more uplifting message since it is also for the Hope is the Thing challenge (HYCCT1213) in the Hope You Can Cling To forum at Splitcoast Stampers benefiting UT MD Anderson Hospital. I haven't got as many of the challenges done as I had hoped; this one is lucky number 13. Hopefully I can squeeze in a few more by the 11/7 deadline and mailing.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, Lily Bee dp, Doodlebug and PTI buttons, Ranger Liquid Pearls, Kaisercraft pearls, Copic Markers
