{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Still Life

It's another day of The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks. There are 6 new stamp sets and 5 new die sets in this release. Three die sets coordinate with three of the stamp sets and will be available to purchase separately or as a bundle with special pricing.  All the new products will be available for purchase as revealed throughout the week with the full release on April 7 at which time there will be additional discounting known in the TCP world as the Kitty Kat or Poochie Pack.

The new Still Life Bundle set was a great distraction plus I tried out a new coloring medium. I stamped and die cut three of the floral images and colored with Karin Brushmarker Pro pens which were new to me. To prepare the background I scribbled a Karin marker onto a mixing mat, then applied to the background with a brush. I also splattered with a paintbrush using the ink from the pen as well as plain water. After it dried, I embossed it with a die from the Flutter By set and attaached the floral set using glue and and foam dots. The sentiment from the Winning set was stamped directly onto the panel using new leaf ink.

I stamped and die cut four of the floral images using the new Still Life Bundle, then colored with Karin Brushmarker Pro pens. I also stamped two of the images using new leaf ink and cut out with the matching dies as coloring wasn't necessary. To prepare the background I scribbled two of the Karin colors onto a mixing mat, sprayed with water, then dipped a piece of acetate into the mixture and applied randomly to the watercolor cardstock piece for a subtle background. After the piece was dry, I attached the various floral pieces using glue on the stems and foam dots for the flowers. I stamped the sentiment to the set using new leaf ink onto a banner piece cut with a die from the Ribbon Banners CutUps.

The new Super set is just perfect at a time when we should be cherishing every moment with our families. It makes me misty with tears when I think about it although I have to admit it doesn't take much these days for the world to bring me to tears. I stamped the sweet image onto Neenah cardstock with espresso truffle ink and then colored with Copic Markers which are listed below. For the sentiment I am giving you a small sneak peek of the new Silly Numbers Bundle set stamped with potter's clay ink. It was a pleasure to use some masculine patterned papers for the card front.

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Let There Be Cake

It's the second day of The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks. There are 6 new stamp sets and 5 new die sets in this release. Three die sets coordinate with three of the stamp sets and will be available to purchase separately or as a bundle with special pricing.  All the new products will be available for purchase as revealed throughout the week with the full release on April 7 at which time there will be additional discounting known in the TCP world as the Kitty Kat or Poochie Pack.

The news was so gloomy the day I was making today's card using the new Let There Be Cake Bundle I wanted to be sure it was as happy and bright as possible to cheer myself up. I cut the pieces of the cake from patterned paper and the cake plate from cardstock and stamped the banner and sentiment with bright buttercup ink. I assembled the cake pieces onto a subtle patterned paper background. The leafy flourishes were left over from another project, the leaf at the top was cut using a die from the Rectangular Stamp CutUps, the bow using the new Liners Too CutUps and the tiny flowers using the small die in the Under My Hat set. Before attaching the panel to the card front, I blended bright buttercup ink along the bottom. Yellow twine tied at the top finished it up.

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Messy Birthday

First of all, my prayers that all my readers are healthy and safe from this virus. I thank God for this wonderful hobby of cardmaking which has been a distraction from all the bad news.

Today we are revealing the new Messy Birthday set which features the cutest of images. It totally makes me smile and don't we all need a smile these days? It's a scary world out there now. I stamped the image onto a Neenah cardstock piece, then colored with Copic Markers, adding a strip of patterned paper at the bottom. For the sentiment I first stamped an image from the Watercolor Basics set using berry sorbet ink, then stamped the sentiment over it.
