All That Scraps Preview - Princess White

Welcome to another day of  C.C. Designs previews for All That Scraps for June. Today I'm featuring the lovely Princess White from the Drozy's Darlings line.

After coloring the image with Copic Markers, I fussy cut her out and then positioned her in a field of flowers. I added the tree cut with the Four Season Tree Cutters set. The bird perched in the tree was cut with the Little Birds Cutters. The butterflies were cut with a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment came from the new Simply Enchanting Sentiments (clear) set. The cloud paper is Doodlebug and the rest is from the new My Mind's Eye Kate & Co. Cambridge Court 6x6 pad

Sweet November Preview - Princess Eleonore

***This is my second post for today. Please scroll down for my C.C. Designs for All That Scraps preview card.***

I'm back for a second day of June previews featuring Sweet November for All That Scraps. This month we are celebrating the Princesses in your life. The four Princesses are actually sold as a set but we are showcasing them individually

Even though we are previewing the Princesses individually, I decided to treat my cards as a set. The colors, patterns and the layouts are different but you will notice that all the cards have common elements, white backgrounds, a paper doily, soft seam binding ribbon, button, bling and a sentiment from the new Simply Enchanting Sentiments (clear) set.

Today's card features Princess Eleonore. I fussy cut out the image after coloring with Copic Markers and then added some jewels to her crown. I placed her on a Martha Stewart paper doily so she wouldn't get lost in the patterned paper which is all from the new My Mind's Eye Kate & Co. Cambridge Court 6x6 pad. I placed a dimensional dot underneath her head for a bit of lift.

Be sure to check out the project that my fellow design team member Tress has created using this stamp.  Amy, the illustrator of the Sweet November line has a creative card to share with you and also outlines the details on a chance to win some blog candy. All you have to do is leave comments on our various blogs.

This stamp along with the other June stamps and dies will be available for purchase at the All That Scraps store Thursday, June 6 at 9pm EDT.

All That Scraps Preview - Once Upon....

Welcome to the first day of  C.C. Designs previews for All That Scraps for June. Today I'm featuring a card using the new Meoples set, Once Upon.

I first made the card base in a step card design and then cut the various step backgrounds and mats. I cut the "castle" with the House on the Hill Cutters which was actually a Halloween haunted house type die. I thought it looked enough like a castle, especially when using Cinderella like colors. After coloring all the images with Copic markers, I fussy cut them out and attached the card base on the various "steps" of the card to create a scene. I stamped the sentiment from the new Simply Enchanting Sentiments (clear) set onto an oval shape cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities.

Born to Golf. Forced to Work.

***This is my second post for today. Please scroll down for my Sweet November for All That Scraps preview.***

A quick post this afternoon to show you a masculine card today featuring Sparkle Creations Golfing Oliver. Did you now that All That Scraps is now carrying the Sparkle Creations line of stamps? After coloring with Copic Markers and paper piecing the sweater vest I fussy cut out the image and attached to the background panel. I followed this week's Deconstructed Sketch (DS103) for the layout leaving the bow portion off to keep the frou frou to a minimum. All the paper is from the Echo Park Happy Camper 6x6 pad.

Sweet November Preview - Princess Gwendolyn

Good morning. Welcome to first of four June preview days featuring Sweet November for All That Scraps. This month we are celebrating the Princesses in your life. The four Princesses are actually sold as a set but we are showcasing them individually. Cause they are just too darn cute and princess-y not to give them their own special day!

Today's card features Princess Gwendolyn. I cut Gwendolyn out with a rectangular Spellbinders Nestie and then colored with Copic markers with the softest of hues. She has tiny pearls added to her shoes and dress and jewels in her crown. The sentiment was stamped onto a piece cut with the Stackables Cutters. The papers all came from the Basic Grey Knee Highs 6x6 pad.

You're Swell

It's unusual for me to have two cards in one day on a Saturday but next week is full of design team projects so I decided to squeeze this one in. Today's card features the Happy Harbor set from a brand new stamp company, Reverse Confetti.

I used the piece cut with the My Favorite Things Peek-a-Boo Squared Die-namics to represent portholes to showcase the ocean animals in the set. I used a variety of ink, Memento, Fresh Ink and Ranger Archival to stamp the whale, fish and shrimp, adding a watery wave for each using the Taylored Expressions Wave Border die. For the fourth porthole I used the Octopus in the patterned paper and then stamped the sand dollar on a separate circle. The anchor was cut with the My Favorite Things Sea Charms Die-namics and I wrapped baker's twine around it and attached it to circle piece. The sentiment was stamped onto a circle using the C.C. Designs Bubble Cutters. All the paper came from the Fancy Pants Down by the Shore 6x6 pad.

You are the Only One for Me

It's been a very long time since I've had a chance to play with the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club challenge (MFTWSC126). But I received this Feathers and Arrows Die-namics fairly recently and was determined to use it. I combined it with papers from the Studio Calico Sundrifter pad, using a sentiment from the My Favorite Things Lovey-Dovey stamp set stamped with Memento Potter's Clay ink. I layered it with cardstock cut with the Lil Inker Designs Instant Camera die with a piece cut with the C.C. Designs Curly-Q Border Cutters slipped underneath. A button, twine and pearls provided the finishing touches.

As of the writing of this post, it looks like the heartland has been hit again with a series of tornadoes. My prayers go out to those affected.
