{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Hare Today

Welcome to the first day of  The Cat's Pajamas sneak peeks for the latest release! The Cat Pack has a total of seven stamp sets and three new CutUps to show you over the next week. We are kicking things off with a stamp set featuring the big eared bunny.

Hare Today is a fun image for spring. After stamping and cutting out the image with Spellbinders Nestabilities, I colored up the bunny in girly colors to match the papers from the new My Mind's Eye My Girl 6x6 pad.  I added a bottom border using the Wave CutUps.  The clouds were cut with the Cloud Border die, embossed and then placed on the panel with dimensional dots. The "sun" peaking behind the clouds was cut with the Flower Buttons CutUps. I stamped the sentiment with Fresh Ink (Pool) and added a trio of jewels. As the last steps, I added a couple of buttons and a portion of the flourish cut with the also new Heart Swirl which I love, love, love.

All That Scraps Review - Fairy Abigail

It's review day on the All That Scraps blog and I am joining other members of the design team in showing you more projects using the March release stamps and dies.

I added a sentiment from the Winged Greetings set which was stamped onto a piece cut with the Stackables Cutters. A couple of rolled flowers, pearls and greenery cut with the Olive Branch Cutters provided some texture.

Let's Take Off (March TCP Tuesday)

The March TCP Tuesday challenge is in full swing. And wow, is it a hard one! Neutrals plus one other color AND you are limited to one patterned paper and only two layers (the base doesn't count as a layer).

Well I guess they call it a challenge for a reason, huh? Because I will be honest with you. I really struggled with this one. First of all I love layers but I love patterned paper even more! I really had to put my thinking cap on. The result. Well I will let you be the judge.

Who is that wheeling around in the streets of Paris? le Bunny of course! I started out by stamping the center street lines from the Joyride set directly onto the card base - all the way across the bottom. I then stamped the image from the Wheel Love set, part of it off the panel and lastly the sentiment. I added a strip of patterned paper from the Studio Calico Wonderland pad at the bottom, below the "street". I used the same patterned paper in a series of fishtail banners at the top along with one in embossed black cardstock. I added a row of decorative buttons across the banners for a bit of texture and interest. And of course I am sure you noticed I did not color the image for a clean and graphic look.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps, Studio Calico dp, My Mind's Eye buttons, Paper Studio embossing folder

You've Got Mail

Good morning. I've been busy with some design team assignments but I wanted to show you a card I actually made a couple of weeks ago using the Market Street Home Sweet Home set. This is the third card from that group.

I combined the mailbox, bird and tiny envie for the main image. I added several die-cuts including the notebook paper cut with The Cat's Pajamas Toppers CutUps and a couple of MFT Die-namics to cut the postage stamp border and the envelope. The sentiment came from an MFT stamp set and I bought the postal washi tape from an Etsy shop. Fun and easy to make.

Products: Market Street stamps, Lily Bee dp, The Cat's Pajamas CutUps, My Favorite Things Die-namics and Button,  Copic Markers
Copics: C1, C3, C5, R22, R24, R27, E81, B41, B32, YG91, YG93; Shadows-BG0000, E50

C.C. Designs Preview - Fairy Watering

Welcome to the All That Scraps March stamps and dies previews featuring the Drozy's Darlings line. Today's card features Fairy Watering.

After inking up the stamp, I wiped off the fairy, leaving only the water coming out of the watering can and then stamped it onto a patterned paper panel. I then stamped the fairy after wiping off the water portion onto Copics X-Press It cardstock. After cutting out the image, I positioned over the first one. The sentiment is from the also new for this release AmyR's Winged Greetings. The "vines" around the flowers were cut with the Squiggles Cutters. All the patterned paper is from the new My Mind's Eye Collectable Notable 6x6 pad.

Sweet November - Pixie Maribelle

Welcome to the last day of Sweet November previews for All That Scraps. Can you tell I had a lot of crafty fun with this release? Today we are featuring projects using Pixie Maribelle.

After coloring Maribelle, I cut her out and then attached to a paper doily, placing dimensional dots underneath the tips of the butterfly wings. The sentiment from the also new AmyR Winged Greetings was stamped onto the label which was cut using the largest piece from the C.C. Designs Stackables Cutters set. By now you are are probably not surprised that all the pattern paper came from  the American Crafts Soho Garden 6x6 pad.

Sweet November Preview - Bu'fly Brianny

Welcome to the fourth day of Sweet November previews for All That Scraps. The theme this month is butterflies and today we are featuring projects using Bu'fly Brianny.

I decided to do something different for this image. Taking a cue from the background patterned paper, I stamped the image onto Basic Grey distressed paper and then did not color it. I added color instead with additional patterned paper, buttons, jewels and a butterfly cut with the C.C. Designs Butterflies Cutters. The sentiment from the also new AmyR Winged Greetings. All the pattern paper is from American Crafts Soho Garden 6x6 pad.
