All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge - Paper Buttons

Good morning. It's time for another All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge. The challenge today is to make your own paper buttons. Check out this tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers.

I actually made my paper buttons a bit different from the tutorial. I used the My Favorite Things Die-namics Button Quartet to cut from patterned paper and then again from plain thin chipboard for dimension. I glued them together and then coated with Crystal Laquer. While my buttons were drying I stamped and colored this cute C.C. Designs Sugarplums Polar Bear image. The Crate Paper Snow Day pad was a favorite from last year and I used the buttons to decorate the various trees. I wanted this to have a more masculine feel plus it will be nice not to have to add extra postage for the hard buttons.

Products: C.C. Designs stamp, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Crate Paper dp, Copic Markers
Copics:  E40, E41, E42, E44

I hope you will set aside some time to join in on the challenge. There is a great prize being offered and in order to be eligible to win, your project must include a stamp that is sold in the All That Scraps shop whether it is any of the wonderful in house designs or from the various other stamp companies that ATS carries. Be sure to link up your project with Mr Linky by next Tuesday at 10PM EST and only one entry per person please.

  1. Love how you've used the buttons on the trees and the polar bear is a great image for the more guyish card! Super cute Nancy!
