A Spot of Tea (TCP Tuesday 227)

Good morning. Today's project is for TCP Tuesday (TCPTUES227) which is a technique/supply challenge from our hostess Julie to make a gift for the teacher.

After a long day in the classroom I would think a nice cup of tea would be a great relaxer so I decided to make a card/gift combination with a tea theme. I used the Gift Card Envie CutUps to create an open pouch and attached it to a card front. I inserted a Tazo tea bag tied with a pretty seam binding bow. There is room to add one more bag but frankly it photographed better with one. The tea cup image is from  Toni's Tea Set. If you look close you can see the two small white beads in the center of the spoon to represent lumps of sugar. I attached a real teabag tag to the edge of the image and added a couple of small buttons to finish things up.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, Echo Park dp, Seam Binding, PTI buttons, Craft Concepts embossing folder, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Cup/Saucer-YR30, YR31, Y26; Tea-E30, E33, E35; Spoon-C00, C1, C3, C5; Shadows-W00, E81

All the details for this TCP Tuesday challenge can be found in the TCP Splitcoast Stampers Forum. As always, there is potential for fame (Pick of the Litter) and/or fortune (Pick of the Week) and possibly even Swanky Stamper of the Month. I hope you will join us this week. Good luck!

FYI, I have added several more items and changed some pricing on my sale page.
