(Blogiversary Giveaway!) Closed!

Can you believe it is December? I've been in a form of denial about the whole holiday thing but I finally got my Christmas tree up a couple of days ago and I've actually bought a few gifts last week. So I'm slowly working toward the realization that yes, indeed Christmas is coming whether I am ready for it or not.

Although I'm not super excited about the holidays yet, I am excited about my Blogiversary and the Giveaway celebrating it. I started this blog three years ago today. At the time I wasn't even sure what I wanted it to be or if I would even keep it up. For the longest time I felt like I was talking to myself but slowly and surely I acquired readers. Readers like YOU. I am humbled and gratified that you would take the time to visit me when I know there are so many blogs out there. Trust me when I say that I do not take that for granted.

Now for the giveaway. I've carefully put together a kit which includes a brand new uncut Doodlebug North Pole 6x6 pad, new Liquid Pearls in Ruby Red and Silver, new Holiday Divine Twine from The Cat's Pajamas, two new sets of Kaisercraft jewel embellishments in green and red, a ribbon/brad card featuring four ribbons (2 feet each) and three decorative brads, two button cards I created just for this occasion and a card I created using this same paper pad for the recent The Cat's Pajamas release (envie provided also).

Here are some pics:

I really do not want you to have to jump through hoops to get this. First of all, you absolutely have to comment on this post. Tell me anything. Your plans for the holidays, your favorite paper line, your favorite stamp company, what you want for Christmas, problems with the family, etc. etc. Anything goes. Just talk to me. That is the way to get your name in the drawing.

If you are a follower, new or otherwise, sign up over there somewhere-----------> will get your name in the drawing a a second time. It's not necessary to win - it just means it increases your chances.

If you mention this giveaway on your blog it would be very much appreciated but it is not necessary to win.

My international readers are welcome to enter but understand the package make take longer to get to you.

I will close this at the end of my day December 8 (midnight CDT) so you have one week.

  1. Hi Nancy! I absolutely love your blog. I am a huge fan of your work. For christmas, I plan to go visit my parents in Quebec City, Canada. I might also go to NY City for a couple of days, depending of my budget... I will also celebrate my fiancé's birthday. His birth day date is Dec 24th. So christmas Eve will be full of joy and love. The best way to spend christmas time! Keep up the good work you do and have a merry christmas!!!

  4. Nancy- I truly adore your blog and your work! You are actually responsible for me starting my own blog in November of this year! yup- you! And I will post on my blog about your great give-away! I am behind on my shopping as well- but I am not going to stress- it will all get done! I will be spending the holidays with my family- and I will be so happy that 3 of my nieces will be home from college on semester break! I love that they are independant- but part of me wishes they stayed closer to home instead of going to college out of state- 3 different colleges! I miss them a lot! Congrats on your 3 year anniversary. I only found you a few months ago and plan to go back to the beginning! lol Thanks for sharing your talent!

  5. Hi Nancy, your blog is one I visit every time you post. I am a big fan of your creations. I only started my blog a few months ago and only have 17 followers, but I cherish every one of them. I'm fifty years old and my husband and I celebrated our 27th anniversary on November 16th. We have two four legged fur babies, they are Siamese litter mates named Buffy (the vampire slayer) and Angel (the vampire). I've been addicted to paper forever but just started with Copic markers just before starting my blog. I'm taking copic classes on line from Suzanne J. Dean, but also get great inspiration from people like you. Thank you.

  6. Nancy - I love your blog, your projects and the new ideas you share with all of us! Congratulations on your awesome 3 year anniversary!! We will be spending Christmas at our house with all of our children and grandchildren except one, our grandson. He is serving this wonderful United States of American in Afghanistan and pray he will continue to be safe. We are missing him terribly and look forward to his return Stateside next year. I wish you and yours a blessed and very Merry Christmas and New Year!

We're keeping Christmas simple this year, as money is tight (when isn't it?) so that means lots of handmade gifts and cards. Perfection, I say. Happy Holidays!

  14. Hi again. Congratulations on your first three years of your blog. When I started my blog I kind of thought I was just a little kid playing around in the deepend with all the professional swimmers. lol... Like you I have gotten to know quite a few really nice people because of it and oh so many lines of paper companies and stamp companies that I now feel I could not live with out. It has also taken me the last 3 years to almost complete my Copic collection. Both by purchasing them and by winning a few stamps and Copics along the way. When I first started blogging I met Amy Young and discovered that we only live about 100 or so miles away from each other. Even though we haven't been able to get together in person we still talk to each other quite a bit. She is just a wonderful person and I always love seeing what she has come up with. I am hoping that one day this coming year as we just purchased a much better car we will be able to meet halfway and had a great time shopping and vistining. My husband and I have two teenagers. We have been married for 19 years. We have one boy and one girl 15 and 14. Their birthdays ended up being July 30,1997 and July 31, 1998. They are great teenagers and as they had late birthdays they ended up being in the same grade. They are freshmen this year and it has been an interesting time so far. They are the love of my life and now we have 3 cats as well. My cat is black and her name is Lucy. She thinks she is a dog and she will greet me at the door when I get home and then follows me everywere I go. lol... My daughter's cat showed up at our door as a kitten over 10 months ago and we just found out last week that he is a 'ragdoll'breed and he is all white with orange tips on his ears. He is just now a year old and he is hugh, not fat just hugh. Part of the breed. Our third cat (my Son and Husbands) is a multi colored cat and she doesn't really ever meow but kind of makes sound like a tribble from the original Star Trek shows.. So Nancy, you wanted to know a little about us, and I am sure that I went overboard, but I do love to visit peolple. Thanks for the chance to win your awesome goodies. I didn't even know that Doodlebug had a new 6x6 out. I usually don't get them as I can't find them. Amy was sweet and sent me a 12x12 sheet cut up in the 4 squares last year and I loved it so much that I actually used the whole things. :O) Have a wonderful Sunday. Hugs, Lisa G
