I have several dog lovers on my Christmas card list including two who are active in the rescue community. Today's card is for one of them.
I used a die from the
My Favorite Things Dome Frames set to cut from red cardstock for the frame and patterned paper for the center. The sentiment from the
Happy Pawlidays set was stamped with Versamark ink and white heat embossed. I stamped the image from the
Playful Pups set onto Neenah cardstock, cut out with the matching
die and colored with Copic Markers. I actually struggled with cutting the image out as the stamp and die did not match. I don't think I have ever had that happen before. After attaching the image to the dome piece with foam tape I added a three gold stars cut from gold metallic cardstock and then anchored with enamel dots. I loosely followed the
Freshly Made Sketches #315 for the layout.
