Skating Along

Well here I am 11 days into December and I have not one wrapped gift under the tree. Heck I only have hand full purchased. The house is only partially decorated and it could use a good cleaning. I can't remember the last time I cooked dinner. I am on some new antibiotics, a new cough syrup and got a steroid shot that made be feel so much better in just a matter of an hour or two. But I'm still sick and I've been ordered to rest.  Of course, that is pretty much what I've been doing for two weeks now. And whining. And coughing. And feeling depressed. And whining some more. But I do see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I've had this image colored for a week but couldn't muster up the energy to actually make the card. I actually think I already have enough Christmas cards made which I would know for sure if I would actually sit down to address and sign them. It's rather ridiculous that they are not in the mail by now considering I've been working on them since July.  But I do have several holiday stamps that have not been inked yet and I would really like to use them.

  2. Awesome layering on this card! And I hope you're fully recovered soon. And as for the preparing for Christmas front, I've got two gifts purchased and wrapped (and the only reason they're wrapped is because I paid the company to wrap and ship them, lol).

  3. Lovely card Nancy! What did you use to get that "furry" look on the coat and hat? Oh, and glad you are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Being sick is no fun.
