Countdown to Confetti - Spooky Sentiments and Spooky Cuties

Welcome to the last day of sneak peeks for the latest collection from Reverse Confetti which also means it's almost release time! All five of the new stamp sets will be available to purchase tonight at midnight CDT!

I love Halloween and was thrilled to see today's set of Spooky Sentiments and Spooky Cuties. I had been patting myself on the back for not buying any new Halloween themed paper this year since I have plenty. That resolve when out the window when I spied the Glitz Design Raven pad. I also thought it had potential for some everyday use too so I used that excuse to go ahead and purchase. I'm glad I did because I think the patterns were perfect for this set of tags. I used a variety of tag dies from The Cat's Pajamas, My Favorite Things and Verve to cut the tag bases. I combined a sentiment from the Spooky Sentiments set with one one of the Halloween icons from the Spooky Cuties set for each one. Then added bits of ribbon, buttons and bling as embellishments. Do you see the striped fishtail tags on two of the tags? That is a stamp from the Arrows' n Elements set.

I created these to be attached to some Halloween treat bags for a select few recipients. Here is one attached to a bag of Halloween goodies. BTW, I had to return to the store to buy this candy for the second time. I had sat it aside on the kitchen counter until I got my tags finished up.That was the wrong thing to do! I came in one day to find that Don had eaten a good portion of it. Note to self: Hide candy next time. Anyone besides my husband want a Gummy pumpkin?

I bet you spy another new stamp set! I used the Lighthearted Letters alphabet set to stamp the recipient's name onto plain tags punched out with an old EK Success punch.

How about some ghost Peeps?

Here are three of the candy bags together:

And another group shot:

Now all of my projects are for girls but you could easily make the bags more masculine by substituting the curling ribbon with raffia, hemp twine or burlap ribbon.
