It's a Special Day {Purple Onion Designs}

I'm back with another card featuring the brand new A Special Day collection by Stacey Yacula for Purple Onion Designs. This collection is a celebration of  Stacey Yacula’s (@staceyyacula) 10th year illustrating stamps for Michele at Purple Onion Designs.

I first stamped Bonnie (bunny) onto Copic friendly cardstock, masked it and stamped one of the tree stumps from the Woodland Floor set, then fussy cut out. Using the stamped image as a guide, I then stamped one of the floral stamp and a small butterfly from the Flora & Fauna set directly onto the background panel as well as the Music Notes and the sentiment from the Let's Celebrate Sentiment Set. I masked the images and then blended salvaged patina and twisted citron to represent sky and grass. After coloring all the images with Copic markers, I attached the main image with a layer of craft foam, then attached the panel to the card front with foam tape.
